Brian C. Winans

Brian Winans is a consultant at B&W with broad experience having worked in several different countries and sectors. Prior to joining Bax & Willems, he received a Masters in Management from the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid with a concentration in Telecom & Digital Business. Before moving to Spain, Brian worked as a diplomat for the U.S. Department of State. He served at the U.S. Embassy in Bogotá, Colombia and the U.S. Consulate in Florence, Italy. Brian’s work portfolio ranged from consular affairs to multilateral free trade agreements to Environment, Science, Technology and Health topics to civil aviation.

Brian also has previous work experience in management consulting and logistics. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University with a double major in Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences and Economics.

He is fluent in English, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish.
