Itziar Hernando

Itziar Hernando is a consultant at Bax & Willems since 2011. Prior to joining B&W, Itziar acquired valuable experience at Philips and T-systems for Volkswagen Group. She graduated as a product designer and engineer, in Industrial Design Engineering at Elisava School of Design in Barcelona and in Biomedical Engineering (MEng/MSc) at University of Barcelona and UPC BarcelonaTech. Furthermore, she complemented her Master Studies including a year of education at the Faculty of Industrial Design, Delft University of Technology in The Netherlands.

She has experience and interest in a wide range of industries and projects, including the lighting, healthcare and consumer markets and the creative and automotive industries. She is especially interested in the opportunities for innovation that lie in the Open Innovation collaborative process.

Itziar has lived in various countries, she speaks Spanish, English, Catalan and Basque fluently, and has an intermediate level of French.
