B&W workshops support SMEs participation in the FP7

The workshops, which consist in total of 3 sessions, start with the revision of the key concepts in order for the SMEs to determine their real opportunities for participating in the 7th Framework Programme (FP7) of the EC. The topics include an introduction to the different types of projects, revision of calls, financial aspects, intellectual property right (IPR) issues, etc. Likewise, we support those companies with a relevant project idea in the first initial steps towards its definition, including consortium building aspects. As a general rule, the workshops focus on a specific thematic priority to optimize their focus and maximise the synergies between participants.

During the last trimester of 2008 we will execute several of these workshops, the next one in cooperation with BOM, the Noord-Brabant Development Agency. B&W's 20 years of experience in defining and managing this type of projects has helped us to develop a practical concept which has been successfully applied throughout Spain and The Netherlands in several occasions. With these, B&W has executed nearly ten workshops in areas like automotive, machinery, pharma & biotech, food or ICTs.
