Call for EU - Mexico collaborations
A call for proposals is open for collaborations between Europe and Mexico. Bax & Willems is one of the partners of this project, whose objective is to promote the scientific and technological (S&T) cooperation between Mexico and the European Union. CONACYT (Mexican Council of Science and Technology) is the executor of the program, for which a special fund (FONCICyT) has been created. The program will open joint calls for collaborative R&D projects and for the promotion of scientific networks with the participation of partners from Mexico and the EU.
The call for proposals opened May 2008, with deadlines for proposals submission in August and November 2008. The indicative call budget amounts to € 15 million and the co-financing limit will be 80% for all proposals received. A basic requirement for collaborative R&D projects in this call is to count at least with two European and two Mexican organizations (one of which has to be the project leader).
