ObservatoryNANO

Bax & Willems presented its latest analysis of trends and market applications of nanotechnology at the ObservatoryNANO Annual symposium, held in Grenoble along the MINATEC Crossroads 2010 event. With a special focus on the automotive industry, one of the presentations of Bax & Willems discussed about the impact of nanotechnology in the development of the electric vehicle.

B&W is on of the leaders of the European ObservatoryNANO project in which experts from the public, private and research arenas provide information and analysis on developments in nanoscience and nanotechnology (N&N) to support European decision-makers. The project is a first step in establishing a permanent European Observatory on Nanotechnologies, to provide ongoing, independent support to decision-makers.

At Bax & Willems, we are currently working on our latest briefing about nanotechnology and insulation solutions for the construction industry. This briefing will be released soon. We have recently started working on another briefing about the impact of nanotechnology in textiles for the transport industry, which will be released after the summer.
