Open Innovation summer class in La Rioja, Spain
Laszlo Bax opened this year's Summer Class of the Chair of Innovation at the university of La Rioja, organized by Prof Julio Blanco Fernandez for the third time since 2008. To a selected audience of some 40 participants (students, entrepreneurs, innovation managers and innovation policy makers) he sketched the history, present day situation and possible future of Open Innovation and shared several examples, some of which from his own experience. After this inaugural speech, David Rafol of Innoget, Iñaki del Rio of the Ibermatica Innovation Institute and Francisco Javier Martinez of Military Airbus explained their activities and vision with regard to Open Innovation.
